About Me

Hi, I'm Cynthia! I'm an educational digital creator who designs resources and courses for teachers of multilingual learners so that they can feel confident and empowered teaching and supporting their students.

I have been teaching for more than 10 years. I first started teaching Spanish in elementary schools and then switched to teaching ESOL. I am passionate about teaching recently arrived students, especially the ones who've had interruptions in their schooling experiences.

I know how exhausting and overwhelming it can be to teach different levels of multilingual learners, support classroom teachers, differentiate materials and lessons to make them more accessible to multilingual learners, that is why I created All About ELD as an all-in-one place to help other teachers feel confident teaching multilingual learners.
